What Do You Want Covered at the Democratic National Convention?

There is a new kind of Democratic National Convention news coverage happening this year and it is only available on the Internet. People who write web logs (blogs for short) have been given news credentials this year by the DNC. There was some discontent about how the news sources were chosen, but at this point each state has at least one local website on the job. In Wisconsin UppityWis has the opportunity to get in the convention and write the story. Uppity's editor Steve Hanson has offered an opportunity for his readers to suggest what they want covered from the convention. If you have an idea for him, travel over to his site and leave a comment. The article is here and it will be interesting to see the range of interests Wisconsin folks bring to the process.

Also note that Steve has assembled many credentialed websites into a special section of RootsWire, so you can go there for a 50 state perspective (not sure how many have joined up.) We also have the fancy widget in our right column (scroll down to it) that has the latest convention news from RootsWire. The widget provides a clever window with links to check in on this news every day.
