Clean Wisconsin Action Fund Endorses Dale Klemme

Clean Wisconsin Action Fund proudly announced its endorsement today of Dale Klemme for State Assembly. Klemme is running in Wisconsin’s 96th Assembly District which includes all of Crawford and Vernon Counties, as well as five townships in Richland County and six townships in Monroe County.

“Wisconsin’s environment faces many threats today, and we expect to see a number of important conservation bills in the next legislative session,” said Gary Goyke, board chair of the Clean Wisconsin Action Fund. “We know we can count on Dale Klemme to make decisions that will help protect Wisconsin’s clean air and clean water.”

Electing candidates who have a strong commitment to conservation can do more than protect our natural resources, it can also help build Wisconsin’s economy. A recent report demonstrated that by investing in energy efficiency and clean energy production like wind, solar, and geothermal power, Wisconsin could create 37,000 new jobs.

“By investing in clean energy technologies, we can create thousands of family-supporting jobs in our state,” Goyke said. “We need leaders who understand this amazing opportunity.”

Klemme is committed to working toward energy independence in Wisconsin by supporting renewable energy and the development and growth of a biofuels market.

“Dale Klemme’s strong commitment to conservation and energy independence will help ensure Wisconsin sees strong economic growth and that we enjoy a clean, healthy environment,” Goyke said.
